Shoulda been "Team Chicken Bleep"
Guess Team Had Balls has definitely lost them... two of the pansies are going to Downieville because they can't race without Keith apparently. And Keith's excuse was somewhat lame because he had plenty o' time to try to reschedule thangs.
And now Schlachter is trying to talk me into going to D-ville instead - wait, shuttle rides, even suh-weeter singletr... $hit, strike that. I'm not letting my teammates down. Nosirree! No Team Chicken Bleep here.

For F's sake. I have a freakin kid with an estranged girlfriend. I have part custody and I have him that weekend. It's different to bail on a kid when you have him all the time, but jeezus he's my 5 year old son and loves his dad....as if the 103 degrees wasn't enough for me to shine it on.

Definitely better than Schlachter's excuse but this race has been on the calendar forever.
But I totally understand - your child is the top priority, not some silly race. Too bad it wasn't cooler - like I said, you could've brought him to the race...
Okay, so we'll cut YOU some slack.

I say they are the smarter of all of you. let's see...multiple loops on some POS xc loop through the shithole of Sonoma with a equally worthless race promoter not providing squat OR premium riding at Downieville on some of the best singletrack in CA. really tough choice isn't it? Oh I guess the fact that you can't mobile blog a bunch of lame ass comments from Downieville counts for something.

Hey chicken-$hit anonymous - why don't you man up and disclose who you are? Hiding behind the whole anonymous thing is lame when you make comments like that. It's not like we're going to hunt you down you know?
Race promoter not providing squat? What do you want? Some lamea$$ schwag bag with a tube and tons of advertisements and other crap? Let's see, medals plenty deep, lots of food and drinks available, low key atmosphere, a challenging course (next time show your sorry a$$ there and ride with us). The course was super fun and challenging. Very technical. Everyone was saying that course was great. Of course it isn't D-ville, but know the whole story - Scott challenged everyone to the fastest lap time at this venue. He was talking smack, and then pulled out at the end because he wanted to do D-ville instead. Yeah, he can do what he wants, but he knows he'll get some schmack for doing something like that.
And it's not all about the trails - it's about shootin' the bull with friends, telling stories about your lap adventures, et al.
So come on, join us for one of these team races - you've probably never done one based on your response - they're a totally fun time. Maybe it will get you to loosen your sphincter a bit too Mr. Uptight.
Thank you and have a nice day!
