Nah, you can't count those - race conditions are completely different, plus, what skill does it require to climb a hill? If you're a giant lung you'll win.

seriously though, there is definitely an art to time trials, especially uphill time trials, because there is no resting lest you fall over. I was actually thinking about this as I tempo'd up OLH this morning.

It takes skill to do a technical hillclimb, but if you're talking a road or fire road there isn't much skill necessary. Yes, there are better lines you can identify and take, but really, it isn't that difficult.
If we can find a good technical climb, I'll take you up on the duel... can't be too long though since you're in far better shape than me.

You can always use the uphill route on Rocky Ridge in Santa Teresa or even Stiles Ranch from the Almaden side
